Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of the Terms of Service. It tells you what is and is not allowed on NeedaCrew. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension or termination, withholding of payments, and reporting to law enforcement.

You may not use the Platform to:

Illegal or harmful activity

• Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
• Engage in fraud, money laundering, theft, or financial scams.
• Threaten, harass, stalk, defame, intimidate, or discriminate against any person.
• Promote violence, terrorism, or hate against protected groups.
• Create, host, or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We scan uploaded media and report violations to NCMEC and law enforcement.

Misrepresentation

• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Provide false credentials, qualifications, or experience.
• Use fake reviews, paid reviews without disclosure, or review-trading schemes.
• Misrepresent the condition, ownership, or specifications of equipment.

Platform abuse

• Circumvent the Platform's payment system or take transactions off-platform to avoid fees.
• Scrape, crawl, reverse-engineer, or extract data without written permission.
• Upload malware, viruses, or any code intended to disrupt the Platform.
• Use bots to inflate engagement, follows, ratings, or boosts.
• Create multiple accounts to evade enforcement.

Content restrictions

• Post sexually explicit content, gore, or shock content.
• Post copyrighted, trademarked, or licensed content without authorization.
• Post personal information about another person without consent (doxxing).
• Post weapons, drugs, regulated goods, or anything illegal in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Use the Platform to send unsolicited commercial messages (spam).

Misuse of equipment marketplace

• List equipment you do not own or have authority to rent.
• List equipment that is unsafe, defective, recalled, or illegal to operate.
• List firearms, explosives, pyrotechnics, drones without FAA Part 107 compliance, or any item requiring licensing you do not hold.

Misuse of hiring features

• Discriminate in hiring based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected class.
• Use AI scoring outputs as the sole basis for employment decisions.
• Engage Crew without a written contract for engagements ≥ $800.

Misuse of communications

• Record voice or video calls without all participants' consent in two-party-consent jurisdictions.
• Share another User's messages without consent.

Reporting

To report a violation, use the in-Platform report tool or email trust@needacrew.com. Reports are reviewed confidentially. Knowingly false reports are themselves a violation.

Enforcement

We may, at our discretion: warn, remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, withhold or refund payments, and cooperate with law enforcement. We are not obligated to monitor User Content but may do so. We will provide a statement of reasons and an appeal mechanism where required by law (including the EU Digital Services Act).
