Yours
$18.75

Send one gaffer who books two jobs a month and that is around $450 over the year, from one text. Send a producer who hires a crew of six and it stacks fast.
How it works
1
Share your link
Every member has one. Text it, put it in a bio, print the QR on a call sheet or a syllabus. Free for anyone to join.
2
They get booked
Producers post jobs free and pay our 5% fee only when they book. Crew keep 100% of their rate. That fee is the whole business.
3
You get paid
25% of our fee on every paid booking your people are part of, crew side or producer side, for 12 months. Cash by Stripe once you are owed $25.
Built for the people crew already listen to
Crew with a group chat
The three people you always end up on set with. If they book through here, you earn on their jobs for a year.
Film schools and programs
Career offices, department heads, alumni groups. Your graduates need a place to be found; you get a cut of what they book.
Group admins and creators
Run a crew Facebook group, a Discord, a podcast, a newsletter? Your audience is exactly who this is built for.
Gear houses and studios
Everyone who walks through your door hires or gets hired. A QR on the counter pays you back.
Independently run, and staying that way. No VC pushing us to raise fees. 5% flat, crew keep 100%, and a quarter of that fee goes to whoever brought the people. That is the whole model, and it is written down.
Straight answers
Does it cost the crew anything?
No. Your share comes out of NeedaCrew's fee. Crew keep 100% of their rate, always. Producers pay nothing extra.
Both sides of a booking?
Yes. If you referred the gaffer, you earn on that job. If you referred the producer, you earn on that job. If you referred both, it counts once.
How long does a referral last?
365 days from the day they join. Every paid booking they are part of in that window pays you.
How do I get paid?
By Stripe Connect, the same rail crew get paid on. Connect it once in Settings. Balances of $25 or more go out at the start of each month.
What does not count?
Cancelled or refunded bookings, referring yourself, fake accounts, and paid ads on the NeedaCrew name. Members must be 18 or over.
Can the rate change?
For future bookings, with 30 days notice. What you have already earned is yours.
Takes a minute. Your link and QR are waiting on the other side.
